The training focuses on empowering participants to take an active role in maintaining clean, healthly and safe environments in early care and education settings. The program is designed to help participants understand their individual responsibilities and contributions to maintaining a safe environment. Through comprehensive information and guidance, participants will become self-directed in identifying and addressing potential health and safety violations in their programs. The training specifically addresses the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s three levels of violations and their impact on the program. Participants will gain insights into corrective action solutions to address violations effectively. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to recognize health and safety issues that require correction or reporting to supervisors.
